Stone Mill processes four types of flax seed:
- Organic Gold Flax
- Organic Brown Flax
- Conventional Gold Flax
- Conventional Brown Flax
Our facility was recently expanded and upgraded to meet the rapidly growing demand for this nutrient rich product. Separation over five individual machines sorts the flax, fresh from the field, from unwanted foreign materials including stones, sticks, dirt, weed seeds, plant materials and metals. The flax is processed organically and with kosher approved methods to protect its natural food integrity. Many of our customers use whole flaxseed as an ingredient in bread mixes, pasta, oil extraction, roasting and whole seed uses.
